Hitfix has a gallery of seventeen pictures from season four, which premieres July 25.

In the meantime, let's share some of our favorite moments from seasons previous. I liked this tete-a-tete between Bobbie and Peggy from season two. Melinda McGraw was amazing as Bobbie Barrett and deserved the Emmy for Guest Actress (as did Patrick Fischler for Guest Actor), but neither of them got nominated due to the ATAS's starfucking and necrophilia. It was kinda sad that she decided to follow up with Hank, but I'm sure that series looked promising on paper.

"Public Relations," general thoughts.

Maybe the best season premiere the show has done, at least the most "exciting," from terms of a plot standpoint, since we're all interested to see what's happened to SDCP since last year. I still prefer the season two premiere, but I've always been in the minority in liking that one.

I worry they're making Betty too much of an ice queen bitch. You'll see what I mean. Since BOTH Don and Sally are p.o.v. characters now, it doesn't reflect well on Betty.

The advertising stuff is great.

I think that's what I can say without spoiling.

Eh, even if she's an unsympathetic character, it's better if she's not a monster.

I don't think she's being portrayed unfairly.
She is what she is.
And if often that seems like a selfish, bitchtastic, cuntmonster...
so be it.

I just think it's weird that a character who had moments of humanity in the first two seasons is increasingly a way for Matthew Weiner to work out some obvious mother issues. I feel like he's lost the distance required to see her.

Agreed.
It's difficult.
I miss old Betty.
And I do blame Weiner for her ruination.

That said, I like the Betty scenes because they include Sally, who is randomly becoming one of the three or four most important characters in the scope of the series.

I wish the premiere was on tonight instead of next week...all I have to watch tonight is Entourage.
