1, 4, 2, 3. The British girl in Season 2 is probably what puts it under 4 for me.

I think the final two episodes of season two are a serious letdown, but it's the one season that really engages with the morality of what Dexter does and doesn't treat him as some sort of sly superhero too often.
And I've never gotten the massive hate for Lila. Or Rita, for that matter.

Lila was a terrible character but a good actress, Rita is a good character but a terrible actress.

I already raved it, like, 20 posts ago, but I've just finished the last bit of the complete box-set of The Thick Of It, and I must advise everybody to somehow (even if it's illegal) get their hands on it. Funny, razorsharp political satire, but with a lot of humanity underneath the profanity, and a frightening feeling that there is more reality to it than anybody could possibly want. If you liked In The Loop, this is a must-see. I can't wait until series 4 starts somewhere this fall. I hope the US version never gets off the ground, because undoubtedly it will be a diluted mess.

I'm pretty sure the news that they're making a live action movie of Fairly Odd Parents is proof that our cultural civilization is coming to an end and I should not care about this as much as I do.

Children's Hospital = more fun in 15 minutes than most shows in a season.

Some thoughts after finishing the first season of Sons of Anarchy:
[Spoiler:] This is clearly a show that knows where it wants to end up. It ended up in a very interesting place, one I like and has me eager for S2. But too often the way that end is reached is very problematic. Sometimes its a simple thing like Jax's unbelievable behaviour at the funeral. It was necessary for the closing and the S2 setup but just not true to him. Then there are bigger problems like the ATF storyline. Clay isn't that stupid and that frame job was VERY blatant.
Hunnam is, us, kind of repulsive on this show? His face and movements just make me want to look away for some reason.
Otherwise it was pretty enjoyable with some good moments.
